Our Story
Slice Box was born from a simple observation: folks driving along the **Sterling Highway** in Soldotna wanted our legendary stone-baked pizza, but they didn't always have time to sit down in the parlor.
In response, the Smithwick family opened the **Slice Box drive-thru window** directly on the side of the Pizza Boys building. It is the peninsula's first dedicated drive-thru window serving hot, bubbling, giant pizza slices in seconds.
Founded in **Fall of 1990** by **Rob & Jenny Smithwick**, Pizza Boys has been a Soldotna institution for over 35 years. Today, Jenny and their **five children** run both the full-service dining room and the fast-moving Slice Box window with the same recipe, dedication, and community spirit.
"But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope."
